On July 11, more than 60 tall ships and vessels will enter Boston Harbor. These remarkable ships represent more than 20 countries from around the world. Sail Boston 250 celebrates America’s 250th anniversary through maritime tradition. The Parade of Sail will showcase history, culture, and sailing heritage.

Boston.com highlights Classic Harbor Line as the most immersive way to experience this historic event. Guests aboard our Schooner Adirondack III will become part of the procession. Instead of watching from shore, passengers will sail alongside this incredible fleet. This creates a truly immersive Sail Boston 250 experience.

Our 80-foot schooner Adirondack III is scheduled to participate in the Parade of Sail. Guests will depart from Rowes Wharf before gathering with the fleet. The journey begins in the outer harbor before the official procession starts. Passengers can enjoy a front-row seat from the water.

We are hiring!!! 

Do you enjoy sailing or being out on the water? Perhaps you have experience crewing aboard boats or you like boats and you have ample experience in the service industry.

Classic Harbor Line is seeking part-time and full-time staff to work aboard Northern Lights (a 115-ft motor yacht) and Adirondack III (80-ft gaff rigged schooner) as crew.  Our crew is constantly and emphatically complimented on their job because they get to spend the day sailing on the water.  It’s a one of a kind place to make some extra cash! It’s important to note, you do not have to have sailing experience. You just need to be the right person for the job!

What we’re looking for

The ideal candidate(s) is drug-free (USCG transportation requirements), able to work weekends (Saturday & Sunday), is outgoing, enthusiastic, & gets along well with others. Ideally has at least 3-years of experience in the service industry and is 21 years old or older. Additionally, be willing to obtain their first aid, CPR, and Tips certification, is fit for a physical job, listens to instruction well, and above all, loves to be on the water.
