Refund/Rescheduling Policy

An option to reschedule or convert to a gift certificate is available up until 24 hours prior to departure. We are not able to offer refunds.  Requests for cancellation, rescheduling or conversion to gift credit must be sent by email to [email protected].  

Most activities run regardless of weather conditions. In the rare situation where the seller is forced to cancel the event, ticket-holders will be allowed to reschedule to another time (subject to availability), receive credit for a future event, or receive a refund.

In order to secure a boat privately, you must privately charter the vessel. To do so, please talk to a private charter sales representative: 617.951.0020

There is no smoking aboard our vessels.

You are not permitted to bring your own alcohol aboard our vessels.

If you arrive late for your departure and miss the boat your ticket cannot be refunded.

Boarding may be denied if you arrive visibly intoxicated.

If you are found in possession of illegal drugs while on board our vessel the drugs will be confiscated and you will be handed over to the Coast Guard or Harbor Police.

Service animals are permitted, pets are not.

Upon arrival you will receive a boarding pass at the ticket booth. By redeeming your boarding pass you agree to the following terms:

  • You acknowledge that sailing is inherently dangerous and waive all risks outside the reasonable control of the owners or operators of Classic Harbor Line operated vessel (“Classic”)
  • You agree that Classic shall not be held vicariously liable for the intentional or negligent acts of any person not employed by Classic or committed while off duty or outside the course and scope of employment.
  • Classic shall have the benefit of all statues of the United States of America providing for limitation and exoneration from liability.
  • Classic shall not be liable to you for damages for emotional distress, mental suffering/anguish or psychological injury.
  • LIMITATION ON TIME TO BRING SUIT: Classic shall not be liable for any claims for personal injury, illness, or death unless filed within 1 year after voyage. Classic shall not be liable for any other claims unless filed within six months after voyage.
  • All disputes and matters whatsoever arising under, in connection with or incident to this contract shall be litigated before the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York in Manhattan or before a court located in New York County, New York.
